Inoltre ho la base per una seconda poltrona (le componenti di questa sono nella busta di plastica che vedete nella foto sottostante) ma mi manca tutto il resto! Va beh... vorrà dire che troverò il modo di usarla.
So che la scelta dipende anche dal tipo di tappezzeria o vernice si ha sulle pareti...
Ora, giunto a questo punto... Cosa faccio? Che stoffa posso usare per rivestirla? Di che colore? Fantasia o tinta unita?

Il rivestimento in pelle è, forse, il mio preferito ma so anche che è difficile da "manipolare" in modo corretto.

piccoli sogni ma farla... è decisamente un'altra cosa!

I have made that same chair and I upholstered with a very basic cream silk. Dupioni silk works great if you have access to that. Drapes and pleats beatifully and very easy to work with. If you really want leather, perhaps a fake leather technique. I will have to look and see if I can find the tutorial for that. I know you use fabric and glue and paint, but don't remember specifics about it. The end results look exactly like leather, but much easier to work with. Real leather is usually too thick to work well with upholstery, however, it can be done.

Diego, You could look on the 1 inch mini site http://1inchminisbykris.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Make%20and%20upholster%20a%201%20inch%20scale%20chair. She publishes a tutorial every month with a huge number of photos, very easy to follow! This is the post of how to make and upholster a chair. As this is just card and fabric it is ideal to practice on. The kit you have from House of Miniatures is not the easiest and is best upholstered with silk or very fine cotton.

Oh and make a copy of all the cardboard parts of your chair, that way you can try again and again!
Hello Diego! I have really very little experience with the application of Leather in making miniatures but I have in the past made a number of the House of Miniature kits and they are not that difficult if you take your time. I know that a very fine leather is available in old gloves. I have a friend who has found them in second hand and thrift stores and uses the kid gloves to cover her little minis and the scale is right and the leather is thin enough to maneuver and manipulate.
